What the hell is The Strudel Times?
Everything you need to know about The Strudel Times. Or like, most of it. Some of it. A little bit of it.

It's a newspaper.
Well, okay, you probably knew at least that much. It's a newspaper for Craftocracy, a modded political Minecraft server based around democracy. Any player can propose a bill that does anything from adding mods, enacting laws, changing recipes, or even spawning in items. There's a legislative meeting twice a month, where these bills are dicussed and votes are open. If you can't show up, you just vote whenever you can.
For the other two weeks in a month, there's a presidental election. Presidents can enact executive orders, basically bills that open voting immediately but need 2/3 of the votes to be yes to go through, veto bills, and that's honestly about it. Elections run off of STAR voting, which is a super cool way to vote. Check it out.
Anyway, practically every part of every article on here, including the rest of this one, assumes you're a member of the server and understand the basics of it. Kind of like how an American paper would assume you know the basics of American politics or whatever. Or that you at least know what New York is.
Here at the Strudel Times, we're dedicated to keeping you informed about whatever's going on here in the world of Strudel. Or Craftocracy. Or Crafttopia. Whatever it's called.
Most important articles, like opinion poll overviews or election predictions, try to stay mostly neutral (despite us being STONE ran and backed!) Although, third party writers are allowed to be a little biased, with an appropriate warning at the top of their article. No straight up propaganda though. That's loser shit.
Speaking of third party writers, we're completely open to them. You'll want to message connie (me!) on Discord @ bugrey if interested. We provide free editor services for grammar and wording and such, just ask!
