MAKING WEBSITES

i've always thought making websites would be pretty damn cool. even from a pretty young age, i figured out tags and how to copy and paste enough to make cool buttons with links, which was actually the first iteration of this website! i was so proud of it. look where i am now!

this website has gone through a lot of iterations, which is why the name doesn't really match anything i go by these days. it started here, became my username in like, one other place, then stayed here when i moved on. when i came back to this website for the one millionth time after that, i decided to keep the name for the hell of it. it's fun! and i can't come up with anything else.

i always kind of liked starting over from scratch, since that usually meant i had grown enough to think my last website looked horrible, and it was time to upgrade. i visibly improved every single time, especially this time! this has been the longest lasting website i've been actively (sort of) updating.

anyway, this is around the time i'd scrap this satnav design and start over again. but i still like it! a lot! i even came back in january to change up the sidebar. but, because i like it, i don't get to start from scratch again. that was always really fun.

maybe i can figure out another way to start from scratch. i've been wanting to make a newspaper for this minecraft server i'm a part of, so maybe something for that? or! those sick ass shrines that people make. i always thought recreating old green steam for a valve or gmod shrine, but i never figured out how it would actually work, or what i'd even put in it.

maybe i'll eventually convince my friends to let me make them personal sites. maybe an art trade or something! i'd send them off to the neocities main page and get them to send me references and maybe draw it out. i always draw out my sites before i make them :)
